MINISTRIES

Come fill and be filled.

LITURGICAL MINISTRIES

LECTORS & EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS

The parish welcomes volunteers to read or distribute Holy Communion at our Masses.

The roles of both Lector and Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion require the understanding, poise and respectful attire reflective of the serious nature of the ministry. Both Lectors and Ministers of Holy Communion should be Catholics in good standing,  who have received the Sacrament of Confirmation, and who practice their faith. In addition, the Lector serves as the medium through which the Word of God is communicated to the people. This will entail reviewing the readings at home to become familiar and fluent with the passages.

If you are interested in volunteering as a Lector or Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, please call the parish office or speak with the pastor.

ALTAR SERVERS
