Anyone interested in getting married at St. Joseph-St. Peter should contact the parish office at least eight months before the desired date. This allows time for the church instruction and preparation required by Church law.

The Covenant of Marriage

The marriage covenant refers to the relatinship between the husband and wife, a permanent union of persons capable of knowing and loving each other and God. It is a liturgical act, appropriately held in a public liturgy at church. Catholics are urged to celebrate their marriage within the Eucharistic Liturgy.
